Description: Sinkland Farms concludes their 31st Annual Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival with their final weekend of fun and a special Amateur Dog Show on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Enjoy six weekends, open Thursday-Sunday, from Friday, September 23rd - Sunday, October 30th jam-packed with activities, music, food, and fun for the whole family! Enjoy hayrides to a 10-acre pumpkin patch, make your way through a mind boggling 5 acre corn maze, and visit with Sinkland's farm animals. We feature Ride-a-Rescue horseback trail rides, pony rides, a huge kid’s zone with a barrel train ride, giant slide, kids zip line and many games. Kids of all ages can see tractors and our other farm equipment. Have your face painter design a specialty to wear throughout the day.

Everyone always enjoys Sinkland's entertainment such as blacksmith demonstrations, local live music, and A capella groups while sipping adult beverages on the terrace. You can watch pig racing, try your luck at our famous Bad AXE Throw and feast with local food trucks. The festival grounds include the area's most noted Arts & Crafts vendors and Pop-up Boutiques. We have been voted the Best Pumpkin Patch in Virginia and Best Farm to Visit.

Additionally, bring your furry best friend down to our corenza at the Pumpkin Festival from 12:00-1:00 PM where we will have an amateur dog show. Get a photo with your furry friend and our judges will select their favorite large breed, small breed and even the best dressed. The winning pups will receive prize baskets that will make fetch even more fun!

Also, on the final weekend all day on Saturday & Sunday, enjoy Punkin' Chunkin' with Team Carbo's new catapult, an innovative new catapult design that uses large rubber bands to power it. This catapult won't be using any motors. It's manually cocked and operated.
