The Friends of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library presents the 26th Annual New River Valley Garden Tour on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at six private gardens in the Blacksburg, Virginia area. 2022 New River Valley Garden Tour Line-Up: • [B] Brown Garden, 703 York Dr. Blacksburg • [G] Golden Garden, 2095 Plank Dr. Blacksburg • [H/C] Hahn & Chancey Garden, 2068 Lusters Gate Rd. Blacksburg • [R/M] Rajagopalan & Murali Garden. 2770 Green Meadow Dr. Blacksburg • [[Sc] Schnecker Garden. 2791 Yarrow Rd. Blacksburg • [Su] Sutphin Garden. 1279 Catawba Rd. Blacksburg The New River Valley Garden Tour is a self-guided tour of six private gardens in Blacksburg. Music and plein air artists will be featured in the gardens during the tour. Visit the Master Gardener tent at the Hahn/Chancey Garden. Plan to visit the two food trucks at Gateway Baptist Church, Bootleg BBQ and Spoons ice cream. Consider visiting the "Points of Interest" listed on the program and make a day of it! Tickets are $15.00 and are available for purchase now at Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Jesse Peterman (Floyd, VA), Meadowbrook (Shawsville) or Salem Libraries, at any of the gardens on the day of the tour or online at: http://www.mfrlfriends.org/wp/garden-tour/. Note: Online sales will be closed at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 8th. All proceeds will benefit the local library programs. The tour is held rain or shine. Additionally, notecards of each garden will be available for purchase at the Schnecker garden for $10.00.
