Little Leapers & Leap Performing Arts Academy presents "The Nutcracker" at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 6:00 PM and on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 3:00 PM. It’s almost that time of year, when sugarplums starting dancing in folks' heads. This year, Little Leapers, LEAP Performing Arts Academy and guest artists are preparing for their 10th Anniversary of "The Nutcracker"! The Nutcracker ballet is one of the most beloved and timeless Christmas traditions about a young girl, Clara, whose favorite toy, the Nutcracker, comes alive and takes her to the Land of Sweets magical kingdom. Little Leaper's productions takes a unique and heartwarming spin on this treasured classic through the lens of kindness. Enjoy this spectacular production of The Nutcracker with special guest artists from the Cirqulation Aerial Arts & Acrobatics, City Modern, Mental Health in Motion, New River Irish, Ole at Virginia Tech, Skipper Cannon (Corp of Cadets, Skipper Crew), Turkish Student Association, in addition to over 450 dancing roles! Prices are based on seating location ranging $15.00-$45.00 for adults and $10.00-$40.00 for youth ages 3-18.
