The Appalachian League presents the MLB Player Development Pipeline, in conjunction with the Appalachian League All-Star Game, on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Calfee Park in Pulaski, VA. Schedule of Events: • 12:00 PM: Gates Open • 1:00 PM: Pre-Game Ceremonies • 1:05 PM: Game 1 Starts • 6:00 PM: Pre-Game Ceremonies • 6:05 PM: Game 2 Starts The Prospect Development Pipeline League (PDP League) is a joint MLB and USA Baseball initiative and serves as the primary identification program for the 18U National Team. The league consists of 96 of the top high school prospects in the country competing in the most premier development experience in the amateur baseball landscape. The program will consist of four (4) teams of 24 players each participating in a development experience that will include two games slated for Monday, July 26th. Five First-Round selections in the 2020 MLB Draft participated in the inaugural 2019 PDP League. This event is free to the general public. No advance tickets are offered for these events, and no upgrade tickets are available. A ticket is not required for entry. Admission to these events only guarantees entry; it does not guarantee a seat. Attendees are encouraged to come early. Parking is free at Calfee Park and a free Fan Shuttle will run along Pierce Avenue to bring guests into the ballpark.
