Description: Virginia Tech presents "Bring Your Own Brain!" Panel on Exploring Neurodiversity in STEM Professions online on Zoom on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

You're invited to "Bring Your Own Brain!", a live panel discussion exploring neurodiversity in the STEM workforce from the perspective of four neurodivergent individuals in various stages of their careers.

Among the topics our panel will discuss include:
* Why neurodiversity should be celebrated and encouraged in STEM fields
* Barriers that highly-qualified neurodivergent individuals face during and after the hiring process
* How workplaces have changed with respect to neurodiversity, and what still needs to be addressed
* What steps educators and employers can take to create a more inclusive, accessible, supportive environment for all employees
* Live captioning will be provided.

The discussion will be moderated by Carolyn Phillips, co-director of the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation at Georgia Tech, and includes panelists Caroline Connell, Rua Williams and Sam Farmer.
