UPDATE: Due to COVID, the Veterans Outreach Fair has been postponed again. A make-up date is to be determined. The Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation, the Blacksburg American Legion Post 182 and the Veterans Outreach Center, Roanoke present the 2020 Veterans Outreach Fair on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2020, but was postponed due to the corona virus threat. The Veterans Outreach Fair is to give veterans and their family's the opportunity to discover what benefits and the broad array of services are available to them for their service to our country. Representatives will be available from the Veterans Administration, the Commonwealth of Virginia, Veterans Services Organizations, and other service providers to assist veterans in obtaining support, services, and in making community connections. An important goal of this event is to assist veterans who have been unable to connect with services, including under-represented groups. We encourage all veterans to attend. Admission is free.
