UPDATE: In order to protect the health and safety of our community and help reduce the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the current closure of the Blacksburg Recreation Center, Blacksburg Aquatic Center, Christiansburg Recreation Center and Christiansburg Aquatic Center will be extended through April 30, 2020. This extended closure also complies with Gov. Ralph Northam’s statewide closure of non-essential businesses and recreation facilities. Blacksburg Parks and Recreation offers Rock Climbing Trip in West Virginia on Saturday, April 4, 2020 meeting at the Blacksburg Community Center. Introductory rock climbing in West Virginia is designed for the novice and intermediate climber. Set your own pace and go as far as you want. Trained guides will provide you with the proper gear, instruction and transportation. The registration deadline is the Wednesday before the trip by 5:00 pm. For ages 11 and up.
