St. Albans closes their 2019 Haunted House titled "Slayhouse" in their final weekend on Friday, November 1, 2019 and Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 7:00 pm until midnight each night. Visit one of Virginia's best haunted houses this Halloween season! Saint Albans Sanatorium is a historical facility that began life in 1892 as a Lutheran boys' school. The school closed in 1911 and reopened in 1916 as an institution to treat the mentally ill. After the closing of medical facility in the 1990s, the facility has been open to paranormal investigators and the general public. Numerous television shows and paranormal celebrities have visited the confines of St. Albans and it is claimed to be one of the most active paranormal locations on the East Coast. Both line jump and general admission tickets are available. Line Jump Tickets let you skip the lines and get right into the attraction and only a limited number are available each night. To purchase tickets online, visit: http://www.stalbans-sanatorium.com/tickets/. At the gate, general admission tickets are $15.00 and line jump tickets are $25.00. Credit cards are accepted. A No Scare option is available on site by letting the staff know before you enter the haunted house. For the No Scares, one of our staff will escort you through the attraction with a flashlight and our Slayhouse residents aren’t allowed to scare you using the No Scare option. Limited parking available on site. Shuttle pick up and drop off is at available at 7327 Peppers Ferry Boulevard in Radford, VA. Vendors selling food, popcorn, non-alcoholic beverages and more will be on site. Guests arriving in an intoxicated state or under the influence of any substance, will not be allowed in the Slayhouse.
