Date: September 16, 2019
Time: 1:00 - 2:30 PM
Venue: Haymarket Theater (Squires)
Organizations: Sustainable Blacksburg, Virginia Tech Alternative Transportation
Description: Sustainable Blacksburg and Virginia Tech Alternative Transportation present the Virginia Tech Sustainability Open Forum: Discussing Past Progress and Future Opportunities as part of Blacksburg Sustainability Week 2019 on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Haymarket Theater within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

The forum is intended to provide a brief overview of our successful campus sustainability program and to encourage audience participation with sharing their ideas for continued improvement. Representatives from the Office of Sustainability, the Division of Student Affairs, and the Alternative Transportation will highlight current programs and initiatives, and explore future opportunities. But most importantly, we want to hear what sustainability ideas you have.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Virginia Tech Alternative Transportation promotes and encourages the use of alternative modes of transportation (e.g. bicycling, walking, vanpooling, carpooling, riding transit) to get to, from, and around campus instead of a single occupancy vehicle.
