The Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents a Living Civil War History Encampment on Saturday, August 17, 2019 and Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm both days. Join the New River Rifles, 24th Virginia/83rd Pennsylvania Infantry, living history group for a weekend encampment on the grounds of the museum. Throughout the weekend the living historians will share camp life, military drills, local Civil War history, and more with the public. Donations to the museum are appreciated, but the event is free to attend.
