Christiansburg Library continues the 2019 Music on the Lawn Concert Series with Vinyl Tap on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Blacksburg-based Vinyl Tap has been bringing the funk, rock and more to audiences near and far for eight years and counting. Guitarist/master luthier Mike Aronson, bassist/vocalist Sid Bingley, drummer/vocalist Doug Veit and guitarist/vocalist Bobby Parker - veterans of a number of local and regional bands and regular performers at many local venues - mine the rich seams of popular music from America and abroad, in all its glory. You'll hear shades of the (Grateful) Dead / (Little) Feat / Band, plus American soul, British glam, Irish heartbeats, Chicago blues, Ozark country, urban grooves, reggae, roots and more. You never know what's next, but it's guaranteed to make you wanna swing, boom and chank! It's music that matters... you got to move!
