Glade Road Growing presents Summer in a Jar: Brine Pickling Workshop on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Pickle the Season with Liz Howard from Glade Road Growing! You’ll learn how to pair vinegars, herbs, and spices with local vegetables in season, then get hands-on experience with water bath canning. During the workshop you’ll make your own jar of pickles to take home. This workshop covers: pickling techniques, safety, pairings, and canning methods. We’ll also provide printed guides that include recipes and canning procedures. Workshop registration is $35.00 includes all supplies. Registration is due by July 18th at 9:00 pm.
