Kairos Wilderness Resort presents Music on the Porch with Happy Hollow Stringband and Jam Session on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Ed's Place. Join us to enjoy local old-time, bluegrass and string music on the porch. Bring your own instruments to join in a group jam session following our host band's performance or just hang out to enjoy the music and nature. The Happy Hollow Stringband is an old-time string band with members from the Newport, Blacksburg and Dublin, VA areas. Light snacks and drinks will be available for purchase or you are welcome to bring your own food and dinner. Bring a chair and a friend. Camping on the property and yurts to rent are available. Kairos is located at Shumate Falls Road in Glen Lyn, Virginia. Directions: Traveling 460 West from Blacksburg, VA stay on 460 to Glen Lyn turn right on Elgood Mountain Road, the last turn before the West Virginia state line. Go approximately 1 mile turn right onto Shumate Falls Road. Travel 2.1 miles to the Kairos entrance on the left and then follow the road 1 mile to campground check in.
