Chateau Morrisette presents Pet Adoption Day and Sunday Sounds with Marie Anderson on Sunday, September 22, 2019. From 11:00 am until 4:00 pm, enjoy the annual Pet Adoption Day featuring adoptable dogs and cats from the Floyd County Humane Society, other rescues, Dog Costume Contest at 2:00 pm and craft vendors. Dr. Erica Feuerbacher will be on hand from approximately 11:00 am until 1:00 pm to answer questions on dog behavior and training. Dr. Feuerbacher is an animal psychologist and professor at Virginia Tech. From 1:00-4:00 pm, Marie Anderson will perform. Marie Anderson is back! Enjoy her beautiful voice and edgy style while she performs a wide variety of popular covers. Marie is from Moneta, Virginia performs a wide variety of music from rock to folk and everything in between. Autobiography: "I'm a singer/musician who has been involved with music since age 4. Ive recently gotten into singing and playing (guitar and keyboards) for someone other than just myself and I LOVE it! Not interested in labeling myself to just one genre, as I typically play something that everyone at my shows enjoy. Variety is the spice of life."
