LoCo Arts 501c3 & JoELoe Productions, LLC present a Summer Shakespeare Camp titled "Macbeth: A Parody" starting on Monday, July 8, 2019 through Friday, July 12, 2019 meeting from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm daily at the Newport Community Center. Sarah Meade is returning to Virginia for this week-long theatrical experience, providing an opportunity for young thespians to collaborate with an experienced instructor to produce a fun and inventive reimagining of one of William Shakespeare’s greatest plays! Students will learn the fundamentals of acting and theatre production as they grow into a close-knit cast and build their confidence onstage. The group’s hard work will be showcased at a matinee performance in the unforgettable, historic Newport Community Center theater on July 13, 2019. Family and friends will be invited to the post-production pot luck cast party. The cost of the camp is $195.00 per child. For ages 9-15.
