Description: Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. presents the 12th Annual Summer Solstice Fest on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in downtown Blacksburg, VA.

Summer Solstice features live music, beer and wine garden, the Solstice Market, Downtown Sundown 5k® Race, sand beach at Cabo Fish Taco, wing eating contest, performances from the Kenya Safari Acrobats at 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm & 5:30 pm, Bike Party Fixit Station, The 501st Legion, Little Critters Petting Zoo & Pony Rides and much more! Enjoy crafts, activities and festival foods!

• 4:00-5:00 pm: The Antecedents
• 5:00-5:25 pm: New River Irish Dance School
• 5:30-6:00 pm: Buffalo Wild Wings Blazing Hot Challenge
• 6:00-7:00 pm: The Breakfast Club
• 7:30-9:00 pm: The Jared Stout Band
• 8:30 pm: Downtown Sundown 5K starts
• 9:30-11:00 pm: Solacoustix ft. JoJo Stockton & Stuart Brown

The Kenya Safari Acrobats® have redefined the perception of African Acrobats. For the past 20 years they have wowed and awed audiences across the United States. The Kenya Safari Acrobats bring high energy with lots of daring maneuvers even going as high as eight chairs, that are over 25 feet in the air without a safety harness! The three free shows will take place in the Blacksburg First Church of God Parking Lot on Lee Street behind Cabo Fish Taco.
