The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents a Meet the Artist event with Betty Moore on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Drop by the pavilion for an informal meet and greet with Betty Moore. The Peggy Lee Hahn Pavilion always has local artists works on display. Betty Moore's show, "Where Nature Meets Art" will be on display in the pavilion May 1st - July 31st. The watercolor and mixed media paintings in this exhibit reflect the artists love for the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. Betty Moore has been a resident of Blacksburg, Virginia, for most of her life. She graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts and from Radford University in 2003 with a Master of Fine Arts degree. She retired in 2009 after teaching art in Montgomery County Public Schools for 22 years. All 'Walk and Talks' meet at the Peggy Lee Hahn Pavilion at noon on selected Wednesdays. Parking is limited so come early to find a place to park. We will be handing out Visitor parking passes in the pavilion parking lot.
