The Coal Mining Heritage Association of Montgomery County will hold the 26th Annual Coal Miners Day Celebration on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at McCoy Community Park. Enjoy Coal Mining Exhibits, live music from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, a Classic Car Drive-In, crafts & demonstrations and Food for purchase. At 2:00 pm, there will be a memorial ceremony honoring former coal miners. Live music will be provided by Heaven Bound, Virginia & The Lovers and Half Throttle. Entertainment will also be provided by the Appalachian AfterShock Clogging Group. Admission is free and all are welcome.
