New River Adventure, Inc. partnering with the Earth Day Network presents their 1st Annual Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Shelter #3 in Bisset Park.

Event Schedule:
• 6:30-7:00 AM: Sunrise Meditation
• 7:00-8:00 AM: Coffee, Donuts, & Bagel Breakfast
• 8:00-9:00 AM: Bisset Park New River Clean-Up
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Plant A Seed to Save the Bees Workshop (Until supplies run out)
• 9:00-10:00 AM: Bee Keeping Seminar and Plant Sale
• 10:00-11:00 AM: Kayak & Paddleboard Races
• 10:00-11:00 AM: Ryley's Native Plant Walk and Leaf Workshop (Family Area sponsored by Radford Farmers Market)
• 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Free Kids Bike Tune-Ups & Free Adult Bike Inspections
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Outdoor Yoga with Downey Dog (Bring Your Own Mat)
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Farm-To-Table Edible Workshop
• 12:00-1:00 PM: Earth Day Festival acknowledgements
• 1:00-2:00 PM: Bisset Park Tree Planting
• 2:00-3:00 PM: Recycled Bracelets with Mindful Arts
• 2:00-4:00 PM: Music by Eric Gress
• 3:00-3:30 PM: Tai Chi with Mindful Arts
• 3:30-4:00 PM: Family Meditation with Mindful Arts
• 4:00-5:00 PM: Music by Chupacabra's
• 4:00-5:00 PM: A Bee, A Butterfly, and a Flower Puppet Show
• 6:00-8:00 PM: Music by Jared Stout
• 7:30-8:00 PM: New River Sunset

The day will start with a sunrise meditation and end with a sunset views over the historic New River in Radford, VA. Activities include plant sale, outdoor yoga, paddleboard and kayak races, tree planting, bee Keeping seminar, vendors, food, kids area activities sponsored by Rad Roots.

Enjoy live music starting at 2:00 pm featuring Eric Gress, Jared Stout and The Generations. Beverage stations will be available sponsored by SweetWater Brewing Company.
