RunAbout Sports presents the 2019 Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Little Leprechaun Dash on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Blacksburg High School. Race Schedule: • 7:30-8:50 am: Packet Pickup and Day of Registration • 9:00 am: 4 Miler starts • 10:00 am: Little Leprechaun starts • 10:15 am: Awards The Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Little Leprechaun Dash take place on St. Patrick's Day. The race is on roads and bike trails and goes through the Stroubles Mill, Hethwood and Fox Ridge neighborhoods. Awards will be given out for overall winners, age group winners, best Leprechaun costume and fastest team. The Best Costume Leprechaun will win a free pair of shoes from Blacksburg's running store, RunAbout Sports! Team wards will be given to the team with the most finishers and also for the fastest group (top five runners places are added together to form team score) in three categories: Business, Virginia Tech affiliated group, Open (any group or club not business or Virginia Tech related).
