The New River Valley Regional Theatre presents The Pulaski Radio Show with Music from Gate 10 on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Pulaski Theatre. This special episode is dedicated to youth in the New River Valley and features Gate 10, a new high energy band performing traditional bluegrass, gospel and country music. Add the regular Pulaski Radio Show cast and you have laughs, great music, audience participation, prizes and fun! Imagine a cross between Prairie Home Companion and the Carol Burnett Show, and you have the Pulaski Radio Show, recorded live in front of an audience. Produced by the New River Valley Regional Theatre, there will be regular characters, a guest host, a guest band or more, a funny sound effects man that doesn't always get it right, and an occasional show theme where everyone can come dressed (or not) for the chance to win a prize. Gate 10 is a highly energetic band that has written its own musical story using the tales of traditional bluegrass, the high energy of classic rock and the heartaches of old country music. Coupling this with ages ranging from 11 to 22, they have a unique sound that is beyond their years.
