Concert pianist and vocal coach Nancy Jones presents the class "Music Lesson Success 101" on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Glade Church. "Music Lesson Success 101" is a free class for parents taught by Nancy Jones, concert pianist and music teacher. This class explains what parents need to know to prepare for music lessons and how to help their kids in getting the most out of lessons. Learn answers and tips through a presentation and Q&A. The class is free however pre-registration is required. Email nancyjharder@gmail.com to register. The class will answer such questions such as: • How to tell if your child is ready for lessons. If they are too young, what you can do in the meantime at home to prepare. • How to prepare child for music lessons. • Tips for success - setting up a positive, efficient practicing routine at home. About instructor Nancy Jones: Nancy Jones is a concert pianist and vocal coach who has performed throughout the world. She is also a dedicated pedagogue having resided on the music faculty at Tech and taught piano and voice privately for 16 years.
