Blacksburg Swing Dance presents Swingin' Through the Decades Dance and Lesson on Friday, March 22, 2019 at YMCA at Virginia Tech's Event Room. Schedule: • 7:15 pm: Intermediate Dance Lesson • 7:45 pm: Beginner Dance Lesson • 8:30-11:30 pm: Dancing Dance with us and experience how swing has changed through the decades! The music for the night will be a journey through 100 years of swing music, and we would love for the dress for the night to match. Come dolled up to represent your favorite swing decade - Flappers to Zoot Suits or anything in between! Our dances have a friendly atmosphere, great for meeting other dancers and learning to dance. All are welcome and no partner is necessary. Lessons start at 7:15 pm, please be on time. Dances follow immediately after the lesson at 8:30 pm. There's a Blacksburg Transit stop right in front of the YMCA at Virginia Tech for those who need transportation. Come dance with us!
