Grab your closest friends and family and come on out for the New River Polar Plunge® Festival! It’s $100.00 to participate and includes a Plunge Fest t-shirt, but the more you raise, the cooler the incentives. We have prizes for the best costumes and top fundraisers, heated changing tents to take the chill off, and of course an icy dip into the New River!

The New River Polar Plunge Fest, hosted by the Radford City Police and Radford University, has become a unique tradition that has grown to include more than 350 plungers and has raised more than $150,000 for Special Olympics Virginia’s programs.

The plunge is open to the entire community including Radford University alumni, Radford University and Virginia Tech students, youth groups, local residents — anyone that wants to help us raise money to benefit the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Virginia!
