Blacksburg Junior Women's Club presents the 12th Annual March of Ales Fundraiser themed "Parisian Mystique" this year on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the German Club on the campus of Virginia Tech. March of Ales is the annual fundraising event hosted by the Blacksburg Junior Women’s Club to benefit local charities. The 2019 March of Ales will feature unique beers for tasting, thanks to generous support from Vintage Cellar. Wine, coffee, soft drinks, hors d’oeuvres and desserts will also be available. Guests will enjoy entertainment by a DJ, dancing and a live and silent auction. The auctions feature an extraordinary variety of items donated by local businesses and individuals. At the end of the evening, complimentary designated driver service will be available to Blacksburg and Christiansburg. Designated driver service to outlying areas is available for a fee. Tickets are $50.00 per person and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, tokens for beer tasting and a souvenir pint glass. Tickets can be purchased online and will be available for purchase at the door if the event is not sold out in advance. Tickets will be on sale starting on Saturday, February 2nd. There are six tables available at $600.00 each, and each will include eight tickets, a champagne toast and a special treat. Must be 21 or older to attend. All money raised at the event is used to fund service projects and donations throughout the year. The funds have benefited groups and causes such as Special Olympics, Salvation Army, Ronald McDonald House, Montgomery County Christmas Store and many others.
