Claytor Lake State Park presents Christmas at Claytor 2018 on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility. Make winter crafts from natural materials, enjoy refreshments, play a few holiday games or just relax by the fireplace. Rangers will be reading stories throughout the afternoon. The Polar Express Hayride will be running if the weather is favorable (not too cold). The hayride is free and will leave the Water's Edge Meeting Facility every half hour beginning at 1:30 pm and will last until 4:30 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. There is a $5.00 entrance/parking fee per vehicle to enter Claytor Lake State Park, but the event itself is free.
