The Radford City Police Department presents Nichole Smith Memorial 5K Run / Walk on Saturday, October 13, 2018 starting at Bobcat Stadium at Radford High School. UPDATE: The event has been moved from Bisset Park's Shelter #3 to the Radford High Football Stadium due to the heavy rain and flooding. Event Schedule: • 9:30 am: Kids 1-Mile Fun Run • 10:00 am: 5K Run/Walk On February 17, 2018 Nichole's life was cut short far too soon. At the age of 38, Nichole suffered sudden cardiac arrest brought on by small vessel ischemic heart disease. In memory of Nichole's active lifestyle and her commitment to helping others as a devoted nurse, the Radford City Police Department has sponsored this fundraising event with all proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association in honor of Nichole Smith. Online registration is preferred however participants can register the day of the event, but please fill out the form in advance and pay with check (no cash will be accepted).
