The Science Museum of Western Virginia presents the 2018 Science Spooktacular on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Join us at the Science Museum for a day of fun, trick-or-treating, and spooky science. Costumes are encouraged! This amazing event is included in our regular admission price and is FREE for museum members. We will have trick-or-treat stations throughout the museum and special exhibits with hands-on activities from local organizations and student groups. The groups include: • Noke Codes • Roanoke Robotics & Makers Club of Southwest Virginia • Virginia Tech Physics Outreach • Roanoke Valley Astronomical Society • FRC Team 401 Copperhead Robotics The cost is included in regular admission and is free for museum members. Regular admission is $15.00 for adults ages 18-58, seniors, military, youth & students are $13.50. Children ages 3-5, can watch for $7.50 and infants and toddlers are free.
