Musica Viva proudly presents their 18th concert season's opening performance with Martinu String Quartet on Friday, September 28, 2018. Musica Viva is proud to open its 18th Season with the return of the brilliant Martinu Quartet from the Czech Republic, following their successful concert in our 2014-2015 season. Hailed as one of the top Czech quartets, they have performed in some of the world’s best concert stages. Music for this concert includes Mozart’s Divertimento, K. 136; Schulhoff’s Quartet Nº 1; Dvorák’s Cypresses, and his String Quartet no. 14, op. 105. Musica Viva is organized to promote awareness and appreciation of chamber music specifically, and the arts in general.
