Description: Sinkland Farms presents the 2018 Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, September 30, 2018 as part of their Grand Opening Weekend.

The Pumpkin Festival is known as a family tradition and offers many family-friendly attractions for the young and young at heart including hayrides to the pumpkin fields, a brain-twisting corn maze, farmyard animals and fantastic live music on two great stages every weekend.

Sunday, September 30th Special Events Schedule:
• All Day: Art in the Barn
• All Day: Creative Expressions Face Painting ($3.00-$9.00)
• All Day: Blacksmith, Lasso, and Corn Shelling Demonstrations
• All Day: Ride-A-Rescue Horse Trail Ride ($12.00)
• All Day: Ed’s Carved and Painted Pumpkins
• All Day: Beer Tastings from Sinkland Farm Brewery
• All Day: Wine Tastings from Whitebarrel Winery
• 12:00-3:00 pm: Artist Appearance with P. Buckley Moss
• 1:00-3:00 pm: PumpkinTron
• 1:30-4:30 pm: Music from Becki and the Booms Booms (Barn Stage)
• 1:30-4:30 pm: Music from Hoppie Vaughan (Back Porch Stage)

Admission price is $10.00 and $8.00 for seniors and military and free for children under 3.

With admission, you and your family will be able to take a hay ride to pick your Great Pumpkin (pumpkins are extra, all are priced $10.00 & under) out of our 10 acre patch, tour the corn maze, visits to the farm animal barn and the Kid's Zone which will provide kids lots of fun activities.

Also with admission, some of the region's best music will be featured on two stages. Additional free entertainment include a blacksmith at work with his fire and anvil, a chain saw exhibition, pumpkin carving and painting, roving musicians, cheerleaders and dance squad exhibitions.

Extras include art and crafts vendor booths, pony rides, horseback trail rides, beer and wine tastings. Pumpkins, fall décor and some of Virginia's Finest products are for sale in the cottage shoppe. For snacks and food, you will find kettle korn, ice cream, great home cooked food and a coffee bar with hot chocolate and cider. Food is individually priced.

Sinkland Farms has been rated the best pumpkin festival in the state, the best farm to visit in seven southern states and a Virginia top 10 epic wedding venue.

The annual Pumpkin Festival will continue for five weekends in September and October from September 28th though October 28th open on Fridays from 4:00-8:00 pm, Saturdays from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and on Sundays from 12:00-5:00 pm.

Parking is free and dogs are welcome on a leash.
