Description: Arts@VirginiaTech Week presents the program "501st Legion: Bad Guys Doing Good" on Friday, September 14, 2018 inside Room 205 of the Virginia Tech Media Building.

Participants will learn from the 501st Stormtrooper Legion about armor building, community engagement, and why art is so important in Star Wars.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

The 501st Legion is an all-volunteer organization formed for the express purpose of bringing together costume enthusiasts primarily dressed as Storm Troopers under a collective identity within which to operate. The Legion seeks to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Star Wars-related events as well as contributions to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work.
