The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley's presents their 21st Golf Classic will be held at the Blacksburg Country Club on Monday, August 13, 2018. Golf with us for a worthy cause, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in our area. Lunch will be served before the shotgun start at 1:00 pm. The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits. The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
