The Continental Divide, located within The Inn at Virginia Tech, presents Thirsty Thursday with Music from Joey Ballard on Thursday, September 20, 2018. They say that music is the language of the soul, and Mr. Joey Ballard puts all of his soul into music. Joey is a multi-instrumentalist who teaches music at Margaret Beeks Elementary School and plays as much as he can when he goes home. They call it playing music for a reason and it's supposed to be fun! Joey performs solo and is a member of the bands Howlin' Mudbellies and The Yams. His influences include Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and Warren Zevon.
