The New River Valley Amateur Radio Club presents the 2018 Ham Radio Field Day on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Randolph Park in Pulaski, VA. The New River Valley Amateur Radio Club would like to invite the public to join us in our radio adventure! Field day is a yearly event where ham radio operators take their equipment to the "field" and make contacts with each other for a 24 hour period. We like to also make this time for new hams to get together with seasoned operators to learn the ropes, to be coached, and to learn more about equipment and technologies that they may be interested in. If you're interested in technology, communications, and/or electronics, check out the hobby with us. We'll be on the back side of the Randolph Park, just look for the antennas.
