Kenzie Crowe & The Flaming Hots are a high-energy band out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, by way of Nashville. Specializing in creative rock originals and select covers, the quartet features the unlikely pairing of electric cello and Hammond organ courtesy of sisters Kenzie and Laila Crowe, who also perform vocal and guitar and violin and mandolin duties respectively. Their multi-instrumentalism finds structure and is supported by the timekeeping mastery of father Kevin Crowe on drums and Carol Crowe on bass.

The Wildmans, an acoustic string band hailing from the hills of Floyd, VA, in the heart of the Appalachian mountain music tradition, take inspiration from the old masters like Bill Monroe, Kenny Baker and Doc Watson, as well as many modern and non-traditional artists such as Chris Thile and Lake Street Dive.

With a base firmly in old-time roots music, The Wildmans push the genre boundaries with acoustic electric instruments and effects to create a bigger sound, with original jam vibes, modern classics and jazz standards, Bob Dylan and Tedeschi Trucks covers, all alongside favorite old time and original fiddle tunes.

The band has been performing regionally since 2011 and features the award winning talents of siblings Eli on mandolin and Aila on fiddle and vocals, joined by young banjo phenomenon Victor Furtado and backed up by bandmom Deb Wildman on bass. Highly skilled instrumentals and soulful vocals applied to traditional bluegrass tunes with a smattering of old time, blues, and jazz combine to create a fresh new sound, old tunes fueled by young spirit.

From campsite jamming at festivals and fiddler's conventions and classical music education comes the foundation for musical exploration that sets this group apart, taking the audience on a musical journey that reflects the growth and passion of these talented young musicians.
