Beliveau Estate Winery presents Date Night Fridays with Music from Joy Tru on Friday, June 1, 2018. Join us each week for Date Night Friday and enjoy local live music, house made gourmet pizzas and award winning wines! Joy Truskowski is a Roanoke, Virginia-based singer-songwriter who performs heartfelt, uplifting, honest, and playful acoustic indie folk pop originals and an eclectic variety of covers. Her voice carries the angelic soulfulness of Joan Baez and the exotic edginess of Grace Slick. She performs refreshing and catchy original indie folk pop songs. "I sing from my heart. I experiment with my voice. I write intuitive, fun, pretty, and silly songs. I also play guitar, flute, percussion, and other things to back up my voice. I perform with a loop station so I can play various instruments, experiment, and harmonize with myself live."
