Draper Mercantile and Trading Company presents FEASTIVAL: A Celebration of Appalachian Culture and Cuisine as part of the Crooked Road's 2018 Mountains of Music Homecoming on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Let’s gather in Draper! It’s a beautiful place and a great example of how small mountain towns can revitalize themselves based on Appalachian values: hospitality, beauty, and community. Chef T. (Torrece Gregoire) has planned a delectable menu that highlights the West African echoes that add flavor and texture to the Appalachian tradition. Does she look familiar? You might recognize her as the runner-up on season 14 of the Hell’s Kitchen TV series. After dinner, you’ll enjoy the stellar musicianship of two of The Crooked Road’s stellar artists: Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones. The best of old-time music will be provided by Canadian-born fiddler Erynn Marshall and multi-instrumentalist Carl Jones, both of Galax, Virginia.
