Beliveau Estate Winery presents Sunday Songs with Luke Williams and Joey Ballard on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Come see two of the New River Valley’s most innovative performers - Luke Williams and Joey Ballard - as they weave together jazz, RnB, blues, soul, and more, while utilizing their talents as multi-instrumentalists to play drums, bass, keys, guitar, and sing! Luke Williams is a pianist, vocalist, musician, worship leader, and teacher based out of Blacksburg, VA. As a pianist, he has performed in dozens of recitals, convocations, masterclasses, and other performances at his time at Virginia Tech. He has been selected for Honor's Convocation twice. Joey is a multi-instrumentalist who teaches music at Margaret Beeks Elementary School and plays as much as he can when he goes home. They call it playing music for a reason and it's supposed to be fun! Joey performs solo and is a member of the bands Howlin' Mudbellies and The Yams. His influences include Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and Warren Zevon.
