Runabout Sports presents the 17th Annual Frosty 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run on Monday, December 24, 2018 starting and ending behind the Food Lion located at North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA. Race Schedule: • 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration • 12:30 pm: 1 Mile Fun Run start • 1:00 pm: Frosty 5k start • 2:15 pm: Awards and Raffle The majority of the race will be run on roads and paved bike paths. The race has a fast 1st mile and a challenging last mile to help burn those holiday calories! Every mile is marked with water available at mile two and a variety of snacks at the finish. This race always has great door prizes for participants. Five charities will be selected with the participants voting for their favorite choice. The charity with the most votes gets all of the proceeds from the event. The cost is $20.00 for the 5k if you register before December 10th. Late registration is $22.00 and race day registration is $25.00. The Fun Run is free and shirts will be available for purchase for $12.00.
