The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents a Free Screening of Documentary "My Father's House" on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at The Lyric Theatre.

Enjoy a free screening of David Greenwald's documentary "My Father's House", a powerful story of discovery. The film is centered around the return of his family to his father’s Hungarian village, which he hadn’t seen since his deportation in the 1940’s. David uncovers important stories that connect him to his father’s time in Nazi concentration camps.

Told through the Greenwald family’s 8-millimeter home movies and David’s documentary footage of their return to Hungary, the themes of survival and renewal are never far from the surface. This personal and universal story is revealed through his father’s re-connection to his former neighbors and to the remarkable life he made in the United States.
