2018 Annual International Street Fair:

Date: April 22, 2018
Time: 12:00 - 4:00 PM
Venue: Squires Student Center
Organizations: Council of International Student Organizations (CISO) at Virginia Tech
Description: The Council of International Student Organizations in association with Cranwell International Center present the 59th Annual International Street Fair in the Squires Student Center parking lot on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

The International Street Fair is a popular annual social event where international and cultural student groups at Virginia Tech celebrate and share their traditions and heritage with the community in a multicultural marketplace.

Over 25 organizations such as Students Helping Honduras (SHH) and the Thai Student Association will be present talking about their missions, their cultural background along with a display of handicrafts, textiles, and pre-wrapped food products. The fair also will feature a Global Fashion Exhibition, live performances of traditional music, children's activities, international food trucks and dancers from around the world.

The International Street Fair has served as a forum for the exchange of ideas and as an exhibition of intercultural activities by the international community to promote cultural awareness ideas and diversity.

Prices for food items vary and generally most booths only accept cash so make sure you have cash on hand before heading out.

Admission to the fair is free and open to the public.

The event is rain or shine. No pets please.
