Virginia Techniques presents the 2018 Rock Star Invitational on Friday, January 19, 2018 through Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. Watch more than 25 regional gymnastic teams with over 800 athletes ranging in age from 5-18 compete in a Modified Capital Cup format over three days for individual awards and team trophies. The Rockstar Gymnastics meet has been organized by Virginia Techniques every year for the past 10 years in memory of Kassidy Foster, a gymnast who trained at Virginia Techniques. Kassidy passed away in 2007 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
