Description: 622 North presents their Five-Course Virginia Bourbon Dinner on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.

This will be a bourbon dinner showcasing all the delights that Virginia has to offer by featuring local ingredients and bourbon from The A. Smith Bowman Distillery in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The five-course meal paired with a bourbon cocktail designed to match, compliment, or amplify certain aspects of each course. Chef Katie Shipko has teamed up with Bar Manager Jayson Hudson to create quite the culinary experience.

Bourbon Dinner Menu:

• Amuse Bouche
- Pot pie puffs with crispy chicken skin, carrot puree, and burnt rosemary
- Hot Buttered Bourbon featuring Bowman Brothers small batch

• First Course
- Local spiced bison carpaccio, frisee lettuce, peach and cherry vinaigrette, toasted almonds, and lemon aioli
- The Chancellor featuring Issac Bowman Port Barrel Finish

• Second Course
- Virginia oysters cornmeal battered and lightly fired, warm pickled apple relish, and smoked bacon foam
- Pearce’s Improvement featuring John J Bowman Single Barrel

• 10 minute intermission

• Third course
- Confit quail stuffed with figs and walnuts, spoon bread, mustard greens, caramelized onion puree, and local honey
- Apple Butter Old Fashioned featuring Bowman Brother’s Small Batch

• Fourth course
- Bourbon and mocha pecan pie, sweet potato ice cream, caramel crisp
- Abraham Bowman Small Batched Limited Edition Served Neat
