Musica Viva presents the 2017/18 season finale concert "The Next Generation – Rolston String Quartet" at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Blacksburg, VA on Sunday, March 25, 2018. This season concludes with the return of the Rolston String Quartet, after their successful concert last season. First prizewinners in the 2016 Banff International String Quartet Competition, the Rolston Quartet has recently been named the new fellowship quartet-in-residence at the Yale School of Music. “A string quartet demonstrating incredible smoothness of tone and gesture, perfectly precise interplay and the most sensitive emotional understanding, emanated musical magic.” –Tegernsee Newspaper (Germany) Tickets can be purchased online or through the Virginia Tech Ticket Office.
