Coach Buzz Williams, the Virginia Tech Men's Basketball staff, Hokie players and wives present the 2017 Hokies, Hoops & Heels on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Center on the campus of Virginia Tech. Schedule: • 9:30-10:30 am: Registration & Breakfast with Fun and Games • 10:30 am: Event Kick-off with Buzz Williams Introduction This is a women's only, kid-free event filled with the basics of basketball and behind the scene access to the life of a Hokie Men's Basketball student-athlete. The event will begin with an introduction from Coach Williams. Event attendees will then be separated into different groups and go through stations lead by the Men's Basketball coaching staff and players. Stations will vary in their topics and will be both about basketball and the life of a student-athlete off of the court. The Men's Basketball staff is working to have some new stations this year so both those who have come all four years and those that are first time attendees will learn something new and have fun! We will be selling a Hokies Hoops & Heels 'Quote Shirt' for the first time! In previous year the Men's Basketball players and staff have worn a 'Quote Shirt' for the event. We are designing a new 'Quote Shirt' just for the Hokies Hoops & Heels Ladies. The t-shirts will be a Nike pink short sleeve dri-fit shirt. Women are encouraged to size-up when picking up their t-shirt the day of the event. The shirts are women's cut and run small. This is an women's only open public event so please invite your female friends and family! Please wear comfortable clothing, no heels necessary.
