Description: Sinkland Farms continues the 2017 Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

Don't miss the popular autumn family tradition this fall at Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival. This award winning festival features lots of fun activities for all ages to celebrate the fall harvest season.

Sunday, October 15th Special Events Schedule:
• All Day: Art in the Barn
• All Day: Chainsaw Exhibit
• All Day: Wine Tastings from Chateau Morrisette
• 12:00-1:00 pm: Giles County School of Dance
• 1:00-5:00 pm: HokieTron
• 1:30-3:30 pm: Kid's Entertainer Marya Katz
• 1:30-4:30 pm: Music from 3 Minute Lovin' (Barn Stage)
• 1:30-4:30 pm: Music from David Austin (Back Porch Stage)
• 1:30-4:30 pm: Music from Neal Wyms (Pond Stage)

Admission price is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for kids (toddlers under 2 are free). With admission, you and your family will be able to take a hay ride to pick your Great Pumpkin (pumpkins are extra) out of our 10 acre patch, tour the 2017 corn maze depicting a well loved sport in agriculture, visits to the farm animal barn and an all new Kid's Zone with many new features will provide kids lots of fun activities.

Also with admission, some of the region's best music will be featured this year on three stages. Additional free entertainment include a blacksmith at work with his fire and anvil, a chain saw exhibition, pumpkin carving and painting, roving musicians, cheerleaders and dance squad exhibitions. Mini Cooper Cruisers and the New River Valley Cruisers will be driving in during the month to the farm.

Extras include art and crafts vendor booths, pony rides, horseback trail rides and wine tastings. Pumpkins, fall décor and some of Virginia's Finest products are for sale in the cottage shoppe. For snacks and food, you will find Kettle Korn, Ice cream, great home cooked food and a coffee bar, with hot chocolate and cider. Food is individually priced.

Sinkland Farms has been rated the BEST pumpkin festival in the state, the BEST farm to visit in seven southern states, and a Virginia top 10 epic wedding venue.

The annual Pumpkin Festival will continue for five weekends in September and October from September 29th though October 30th open on Fridays from 4-8 pm, Saturdays from 10 am - 5 pm and on Sundays from 12-5 pm.

Parking is free.

Dogs are welcome on a leash.
