The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents a Learn at Lunch event titled "Top Fall-flowering Perennials" with Dr. Holly Scoggins on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Some of our best and brightest garden perennials (including ornamental grasses) flower in the late summer and early autumn. Join Dr. Holly Scoggins, Associate Professor in the Department of Horticulture, for a walk and talk in the Hahn Horticulture Garden featuring easy-to-grow natives and non-natives, many of which provide a last blast of pollen and nectar for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The event is rain or shine. The talk will move indoors if heavy rain or storms. Admission is free and all are welcome.
