Mystic River Lavender presents their 2nd Annual Lavender Festival on Saturday, June 24, 2017 and Sunday, June 25, 2017. Please come and enjoy our beautiful lavender. Cut your own bouquet and learn all about lavender. Food will be available for purchase or bring your own picnic. Bring lawn chairs, umbrellas, hats, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. Please leave your four legged friends at home. Mystic River Lavender Story: Upon retiring from the corporate world, Janice and Keith Mileski fell in love with herbs and succumbed to the lure of lavender. The farm was started in 2008 and concentrated on herbs and, of course, lavender. As plantings grew, Janice applied her interest in the benefits of lavender with Keith's knowledge of chemistry to craft a line of superb body care products which include lotions, creams, sprays, soaps, dog care, etc. With amazing vistas, their location includes a serene setting to walk through their lavender fields. The farm now includes over 18 varieties of both Angustifolia and Intermedia Lavenders to enjoy including several Culinary varieties.
