Description: The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley presents the 20th Annual Claytor Lake Beach Festival on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm at Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, VA.

This is the festival’s 20th year and promises to be the best one yet! The festival kicks off the summer season at Claytor Lake State Park.

• Wine Tasting from Virginia Wineries
• Annual Car and Motorcycle Show
• Old Dominion Historical Fire Society Antique Fire Trucks
• Everett Lee Yearout, Jr. Adult / Youth Fishing Tournament and Essay Contest
• Coast Guard Auxiliary Search & Rescue
• Claytor Lake Sailing Association
• Remote Control Airplanes doing tricks & stunts
• Children's Activities
• Entertainment with a Wohlfahrt Haus Mini Performance of “Then Sings my Soul”
• Live music performed by Triple Play Band, Part Time Party Time Band
and Southern Nights Band

Enjoy fun for the whole family from a wide assortment of activities, events and performances with a grand fireworks finale.

The day’s entertainment includes Part Time Party Time Band, Triple Play and the Southern Nights band and a performance by the Wohlfahrt Haus Players performing songs from “Then Sings my Soul” and the grand finale fireworks at dark by Grucci.

The entertainment begins at 11:00 am and will continue until the fireworks start and then the entertainment resumes for about 1 hour after the fireworks.

There is a parking fee of $10.00 or $5.00 and 5 cans of food that will be donated to a local food bank.

A free shuttle bus service will begin at 6:00 pm leaving from the Dublin Wal-Mart parking lot.

The Claytor Lake Festival is a annual community event which helps contribute to art education programs of the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley.
