The Montgomery County Coal Mining Heritage Association will hold the 24th Annual Coal Miners Day Celebration at the McCoy Community Park on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Schedule: • 9:00 am: Opening Ceremony • 10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Live Music & Entertainment • 2:00 pm: Memorial Ceremony The celebration will feature live music, exhibits, crafts, food, classic car drive-in and more. Help us celebrate the rich coal mining heritage of Montgomery County! Live music and entertainment will be performed from 10 am until 3 pm. Featuring Heaven Bound (Gospel), Redeemers, Olen Gardner & Friends, American Roots and the Appalachian Aftershock clogging group. Admission is free and all are welcome.
